Abstract

Natural rubber is a versatile and excellent engineering material which has been used successfully by engineers for more than one hundred years in structural and industrial applications.   This paper will describe the latest applications of natural rubber which require stringent requirements such as very durable, excellent fire-retardant characteristics and ability to protect structures form earthquake.
