Artikel ini menyajikan hasil analisisbibliometrikterhadappenelitian-penelitian mengenai KAS yang diterbitkan di jurnal-jurnalterindeks Scopus. Total251 artikel tentang KAS diterbitkan sejak tahun 1991 sampai 2022 (bulan Juli). Kata kunci spesifik yang paling banyak digunakan adalah geneexpression,transcriptome,ethylene,danethephon. Multiple Component Analysis(MCA) menunjukkan tema yang sedang berkembang saatinimeliputigenes,genomics,danEuphorbiaceae(studi pada spesies penghasil karetalamselainH.brasiliensis).Relungpenelitian yang masih dapat dieksplor meliputi proteomics,proteinanalysis,danmassspectrometry.Namundemikian,penelitianmengenaipenanggulanganKASmasihterbatas dan sangat potensial untuk diteliti. Analisis molekuler merupakan strategi utama untuk mempelajari KAS saat ini sehingga perludipertimbangkanbagilembagapenelitian dalam pengembangan laboratorium dan sumber daya manusia yang relevan. Tantangan bagi peneliti adalah membangun jaringandankolaborasidenganberbagaiinstitusipenelitiandanperguruantinggidengan beragam latar belakang keahlian.
